National Anti-Fur Day – Toronto

Join us if you can. Time to celebrate the wins of the fight against the fur trade! We have 3 things planned… all family friendly 🙂
1. We’ll start at the Toronto Sign at Nathan Phillips Square, where we’ll take photos in front of the Toronto sign with our National Anti-Fur Day banner, and our favourite heart sign <3
2. We’ll go up the stairs to the little pedestrian walkway and do a 5 minute banner drop with our banner.
3. We’ll walk the 5 mins to the Hudson’s Bay Centre and Saks, and stand in front of them, celebrating that fur has disappeared completely from their stores – all faux fur trim too!!
We’ll be doing outreach along the way as well as in front of the Eaton Centre’s south entrance on Queen St.
This promises to be a fun event, as always we’re peaceful and for this day, will be celebrating as well as acknowledging the fact that some stores still haven’t got the message to go fur free.
