AR Chats (1-2:30) + Campaign-In-An-Hour AI Workshop (11:30 – 1)

Campaign-In-An-Hour AI Workshop – 11:30am to 1pm (together with Mike Wigmore of Equip AI, we will build a comprehensive animal rights campaign within an hour or so, centred on a real issue, with the resulting strategy something we can tweak, adapt, and build upon for other issues) Event link: https://www.facebook.com/events/880280588046613
AR Chats campaign development and 2026 Toronto Animal Rights March planning – 1pm to 2:30pm
The Lab – 108 Dundas Street West
*tour of Wishbone Animal Rights Lab (600 Bay Street) and animal action to take place afterwards*
Let’s return Toronto and other cities in Ontario to the thriving, prolific animal activism centres they once were!
Join with other like-minded and like-hearted people to chat, brainstorm, and strategize about standing up for the animals!
On the agenda: Along with general discussion about getting animal-active, we’re hitting the ground running to plan this year’s Toronto Animal Rights March being held in May!
Demo afterwards — hope you’ll join us!
Zoom link available. Contact Jenny McQueen, Colleen Burns, or Sue Spahr for details.
A few details about AR Chats:
Whether you’re a seasoned advocate or someone new to the scene, this is a judgment-free, no-pressure environment that welcomes every idea and supports every comfort level. Because each person is uniquely wired and different tactics resonate with different people, there’s no one foolproof form of activism.
After each session, attendees are encouraged to participate in a street action to put your new skills and energy into practice (this is totally voluntary, no pressure). And sometimes homework will be assigned and due for discussion at the next scheduled meeting.
Some attend one week, but can’t come to the next one…just attend when you can.
Please feel free to bring a plant-based food item to share.
As the buildings that house Wishbone and The Lab are heritage buildings (with 600 Bay Street boasting one of the last attendant-operated elevators in the city of Toronto — but only during weekday office hours), Wishbone and The Lab will unfortunately not be accessible to anyone requiring a lift. Our apologies in advance for this inconvenience.
Wishbone Animal Rights Lab and The Lab…where vegan is the default, NOT the option.
