Toronto: World Day to End Fishing at Ripley’s

March 28 @ 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Turtle entangled in fishing net highlighting animal cruelty and the need to end fishing practices.

Join a coalition of groups in Toronto as we support the worldwide campaign – WoDEF – the World Day to End Fishing.
This will be a peaceful gathering – please feel free to bring your own posters.

Fishing is a destructive and cruel practice, and is out of control in so many ways, with bottom trawlers, fish farms, and dicarded gear everywhere killing and maiming so many other individuals. Dying by suffocation as they’re ripped from the water? Let’s end fishing.
Watch the newly released documentary https://seantience.org/ to learn more.

Afterwards, stick around and join a special event by FurFree Toronto & DxE – your help is needed!
