Ethics in Action with Animal Justice

October 21 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Join us for a conversation with Alanna Devine, Animal Justice’s Director of Advocacy and Jeff Phillips, The Fur-Bearers’ Lead for Government Relations, who will examine the current state of fur farming in Canada and around the world, the public health and environmental risks associated with the industry, and the growing momentum toward change.

Together, they’ll explore:

  • What fur farming looks like today in Canada and globally, and why it matters
  • How fur farming intersects with human, animal, and environmental health
  • The One Health approach and what it means for policy and advocacy
  • Emerging policy developments and the growing global movement away from fur farming
  • Opportunities to build momentum for change here in Canada

Most importantly, they’ll discuss where change is possible, and how each of us can contribute.

What to Expect:

A strategic spotlight conversation with Alanna Devine and Jeff Phillips
Structured small-group discussions designed to spark cross-sector insight and collaboration
 Light refreshments and informal networking

More than a networking event, Ethics in Action is a space to explore how animal ethics translates into real-world influence—in courtrooms, boardrooms, classrooms, research institutions, media, and government.
