🚫 ARE YOU A SMOKER? Time to quit – smoking is not vegan ( due to ingredients / farming / animal testing). Additionally, the smell is retained by skin/clothing and will reduce outreach effectiveness. For these reasons smoking is not allowed at Cubes, even during breaks.

PACKING ESSENTIALS:

—— 📱 Fully-charged Phone
—— ⚫ PLAIN-BLACK (obligatory) Weather-appropriate Clothing (i.e. NO logos, messages, graphics or patterns)
—— ☂️ PLAIN-BLACK (preferable) Weather-appropriate Accessories (e.g. Umbrella / Sunglasses)
⚠️ IMPORTANT: DO NOT BRING MORE THAN WHAT YOU NEED. If you bring a bag, then know that you will need to keep that bag on your person at all times for the duration of our work. Any items brought to the Cube are your responsibility. ORGANIZERS WILL NOT BE STORING AND ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR VOLUNTEERS’ PERSONAL BELONGINGS IN ANY WAY.

ABOUT:
The Cube of Truth is a street outreach campaign that employs direct action with the public, in a structured manner. We use standard practice footage displayed on screens to expose the truth about animal agriculture to the public and one on one conversations to educate them about animal exploitation.

Please respect AV chapter organizers and other volunteers at all times, adhere to our structure and represent our core values while attending a Cube of Truth. The seriousness and professionalism of our actions are directly proportional to how the public perceives us.
