DESCRIPTION:Event by Animal Justice & Release the Dogs. \nJoin us as we gather to celebrate a historic victory for animals: Ontario’s ban on invasive medical experiments on dogs and cats! \nOne year ago\, Animal Justice exposed the secret animal testing taking place at St. Joseph’s Hospital in London\, Ontario. Thanks to the courage of two whistleblowers\, the determination of advocates and community members\, and the support of government leaders\, that exposé led to a historic victory: Ontario banned invasive medical research on dogs and cats. St. Joseph’s ended its dog experiments\, and the surviving dogs were released to a rescue organization. \nBut the fight isn’t over. While dogs and cats are now protected\, pigs\, rats\, and mice continue to be used for research at St. Joseph’s.
