Please join us to bear witness to\, and to speak up for\, the thousands of baby pigs whose lives are needlessly and violently stolen from them daily at Fearman’s slaughterhouses. \nPlacards\, leaflets\, support are provided.\n——————————- \nPlease read these vigil and safety notes prior to attending. \n☮️ Keeping Save Movement vigils peaceful. \n1) The purpose of Save Movement vigils is to bear witness\, to see the reality\, to connect\, to document\, then to share with others. To bring peace to a violent space. Disruptions can take place at a different time. \n2) Truck Drivers:\nThough we don’t respect what they are doing for a living\, let’s respect the drivers for giving us this time to show the world the plight of farmed animals. \n3) Slaughterhouse Workers:\nSome workers may try to taunt (though rarely anymore). Offer a wave or peace sign instead of a negative reaction. Break the cycle of violence. \n????‍ Keep Arms out of the truck: \nWe’ve experienced a few serious injuries from vigil attendees putting hands/arms into the truck. Please avoid the temptation to reach inside for the following reasons: \n1) The truck may suddenly move\, trapping/taking you with it.  \n2) Pigs are extremely large and heavy beings. Though they may not intend to hurt\, a human arm may frighten them and simple movement can crush or break bones. Instead\, offer your hand just at the opening of the truck. Some pigs will choose to come to you and sniff/lick your hand.  \n3) Fear. Many of these beings have not known kind human hands in the past. This may cause them stress. \n❤️????❤️ Thank you for your understanding and for coming to bear witness and to be their voice. Please bring a friend. They desperately need you.

DESCRIPTION:Help us raise funds for Lebanese Vegan’s Relief Campaign. \nIn August 2020\, Lebanese Vegans launched a campaign in collaboration with Seb Alex\, to distribute plant-based food boxes and ready meals to families and individuals who were affected by the Beirut port explosion. \nSince then they distributed 18000 meals to refugees and displaced in Beirut\, affected by current war. \nAs well they are looking for lost and injured animals and providing medical care and food to them. \nIf you would like to donate vegan baked goods to our fundraiser\, please reach out by email to info@thealk.com or through our social media to arrange drop off. DESCRIPTION:Outreach in front of Wychwood Barns.  This is in response to a pro-dairy event taking place inside called the “Cownty Fair”.  We’ll be showing the public the ugly truth about dairy\, by handing out anti-dairy literature\, A Cow’s Life comic book to children\, and yummy vegan Lindor chocolate truffles.  We’ll have optional cow costumes available\, as well as cow-themed PPE masks.  This is a fun and friendly family event.  For anyone who has not done outreach before and wants to try it\, this is the perfect opportunity.

Please join us to bear witness to\, and to speak up for\, the thousands of baby pigs whose lives are needlessly and violently stolen from them daily at Fearman’s slaughterhouses. \nPlacards\, leaflets\, support are provided.\n——————————- \nPlease read these vigil and safety notes prior to attending. \n☮️ Keeping Save Movement vigils peaceful. \n1) The purpose of Save Movement vigils is to bear witness\, to see the reality\, to connect\, to document\, then to share with others. To bring peace to a violent space. Disruptions can take place at a different time. \n2) Truck Drivers:\nThough we don’t respect what they are doing for a living\, let’s respect the drivers for giving us this time to show the world the plight of farmed animals. \n3) Slaughterhouse Workers:\nSome workers may try to taunt (though rarely anymore). Offer a wave or peace sign instead of a negative reaction. Break the cycle of violence. \n????‍ Keep Arms out of the truck: \nWe’ve experienced a few serious injuries from vigil attendees putting hands/arms into the truck. Please avoid the temptation to reach inside for the following reasons: \n1) The truck may suddenly move\, trapping/taking you with it.  \n2) Pigs are extremely large and heavy beings. Though they may not intend to hurt\, a human arm may frighten them and simple movement can crush or break bones. Instead\, offer your hand just at the opening of the truck. Some pigs will choose to come to you and sniff/lick your hand.  \n3) Fear. Many of these beings have not known kind human hands in the past. This may cause them stress. \n❤️????❤️ Thank you for your understanding and for coming to bear witness and to be their voice. Please bring a friend. They desperately need you.
