DESCRIPTION:We will do a banner drop over the QEW\, a few minutes away from the slaughterhouse where Regan Russell was killed 5 years ago. \nRegan never got justice for her killing because unfortunately animal rights activists have the same rights as the animals\, to be slaughtered without human consequence. \nWhen raising our voice for Regan we are raising our voice for all victims of “allowed” violence. \nYou are always in our hearts Regan and we will continue to fight for justice to end the violence that is animal agriculture. \nNote: Please check the Facebook event page for updates.

DESCRIPTION:PLEASE JOIN RACCOON FREEDOM FIGHTERS & MALLY’S THIRD CHANCE FOR A MEMORIAL SHARING & BANNER EVENT IN HONOUR OF MALLY’S RACCOONS \nIt was 6 months ago\, on September 26\, 2023\, that the Ministry of Natural Resources conducted their incomprehensible raid on Mally’s Third Chance Racoon Rescue\, and began their campaign of brutality and terror against the innocent raccoons and beloved rescue centre. \nWE INVITE YOU TO JOIN US ON THE PORTER ROAD OVERPASS OF HIGHWAY 35/115 (MALLY’S EXIT)\nwhere the raccoons were very last looked upon by loving eyes before being driven off to the highway in the backs of MNRF trucks.\nWE’RE LOVINGLY BEING JOINED BY DEREK & TARA OF MALLY’S. \nAnd\, we ask everyone to please consider that this may be especially emotional for them\, and to therefore please respect their cues for comfort and/or space. DESCRIPTION:With the upcoming court case for Mally’s\, and the recent increase in media attention\, these public awareness events are more important than ever as only one side of this story is being told in the media until the court case takes place. We need people to know the truth about how the MNRF conducts themselves with Ontario’s Wildlife Rehabbers. \nWe’ll be setting up at this busy intersection in Peterborough using banners\, protest signs\, literature handouts\, and public outreach (all will be provided by organizers) to share our outrage and disgust over the abuse and murder of Mally’s 87 raccoons at the hands of the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNRF)\, as well as the decades of MNRF over-reach and tyrannical authoritarian-style regulation of Ontario’s Wildlife Rehabbers.
