DESCRIPTION:Join us on April 22nd for a vigil for the pigs and “Run For Your Lives” on Earth Day! \nWe will start the day bearing witness to pigs at Fearmans slaughterhouse\, followed by a 7km run\, jog or walk to Burlington City Hall\, where we will enjoy refreshments and green smoothies while we outreach to the public! \n• Vigil – Fearmans\n9am – 10:30am\n• Walk/run\n10:45am – 12:30pm\n• Lunch\n12:30pm – 1:15pm\n• Outreach on Brant Street\n1:30pm – 3pm\n• 100 Cafes Campaign outreach\n3pm – 4:30pm\n• Optional group dinner at Lettuce Love\n4:30pm – 6pm \nPlease bring your refillable water bottles and dress for the weather!\nSigns\, flyers and outreach materials will be provided.\nInvite your friends and family to join you! \nMeeting place: 875 Appleby Line\nParking available nearby and also at Appleby GO Station. \nNote: Please check the Facebook event page for updates.
