DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening of great food\, meaningful conversations\, collaborative planning and TEAM BUILDING! \nWhether you’re a long-time activist or just curious about our campaigns\, this gathering is an opportunity to connect with like-minded people\, share ideas\, and help shape our next steps while building a supportive activist community. \nOver a delicious plant-based potluck\, we’ll be exploring topics including:\n🌿 Building stronger relationships with municipalities and identifying opportunities to engage with cities through community events\, sustainability initiatives\, and local partnerships.\n🌱 The Eat Plants Pledge and how this new initiative can inspire individuals\, businesses\, organizations\, and municipalities to take meaningful action toward a more sustainable food system.\n🎲 A collaborative team-building activity where we’ll work together to create our next outreach resource for festivals\, tabling events\, and community outreach. \nWe’ll also take time to connect\, share what’s working in our communities\, celebrate successes\, and leave with new ideas\, practical resources\, and renewed energy for the months ahead. \n🥗 Potluck: Please bring a plant-based dish or snack to share if you’re able.\n📍 Location: Cherry Beach (Clarke Beach Park)\n📅 Date: Monday\, Aug 10\, 2026\n🕒 Time: 6pm – 8pm \nLet’s build a movement that empowers people to take meaningful action\, supports communities in embracing plant-based solutions\, and inspires lasting change for animals\, people\, and the planet. \nQuestions or want to RSVP?
