DESCRIPTION:Be part of a live studio audience for a recording of “The Calling All Vegans Show” being held in the Wishbone Animal Rights Lab studio. \nDigital creator\, author\, award-winning filmmaker\, photographer\, former sanctuary worker\, and now the Executive Director of the International Vegan Film Festival (IVFF)\, Emma Schwarz will be first on the couch to talk about her various veganly ventures (oh\, how I do loves me some alliteration)\, including the festival itself. Our old friend and social media guru/sensation in the animal advocacy space\, John Oberg\, with his gazillion likes\, follows\, views\, etc.\, will be on Toronto soil the weekend of November 16 and 17. But he’s not just loafing around. Not only is he sitting down for an interview on “The Calling All Vegans Show”\, he will be doing what he does best and conducting a workshop on effective animal activism the evening before at the International Vegan Film Festival. \nAnd even though he has to catch a flight\, we’re hoping John will stick around to provide some loving heckling to his friend\, Emma. \nAnd we’re also hoping to have some surprise guests\, but we’re still working on it! \nNote: Please check the Facebook event page for updates.

SUMMARY:Dairy is Scary2
DESCRIPTION:Outreach in front of Wychwood Barns.  This is in response to a pro-dairy event taking place inside called the “Cownty Fair”.  We’ll be showing the public the ugly truth about dairy\, by handing out anti-dairy literature\, A Cow’s Life comic book to children\, and yummy vegan Lindor chocolate truffles.  We’ll have optional cow costumes available\, as well as cow-themed PPE masks.  This is a fun and friendly family event.  For anyone who has not done outreach before and wants to try it\, this is the perfect opportunity.
