SUMMARY:Kawartha Lakes Banner Event in Peterborough
DESCRIPTION:With the upcoming court case for Mally’s\, and the recent increase in media attention\, these public awareness events are more important than ever as only one side of this story is being told in the media until the court case takes place. We need people to know the truth about how the MNRF conducts themselves with Ontario’s Wildlife Rehabbers. \nWe’ll be setting up at this busy intersection in Peterborough using banners\, protest signs\, literature handouts\, and public outreach (all will be provided by organizers) to share our outrage and disgust over the abuse and murder of Mally’s 87 raccoons at the hands of the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNRF)\, as well as the decades of MNRF over-reach and tyrannical authoritarian-style regulation of Ontario’s Wildlife Rehabbers.
