World Day for the End of Fishing – Toronto

For our event in Toronto we’re wanting to raise awareness about octopus farming and also persuade a store (that’s not yet opened) not to sell octopus flesh.

We’re teaming up with the Save Movement – their campaign is focused on preventing an octopus farm in the Canary Islands from opening up – more information at https://thesavemovement.org/stop-octopus-farming/

The store we’re meeting at is called “The Spanish Pig” – we hope to do a future action about the other illustrations they have on their window – cute pigs. We’ll be trying to persuade them to start a vegan charcuterie instead.
