Stop Yulin Forever – Help STOP the dog and cat meat trade!

The Yulin Festival takes place in Yulin, China, every year during the summer solstice from June 21st to June 30th.
10,000 – 15,000 dogs, many just puppies are tortured, butchered, and consumed during the Festival.
The meat trade does not end on June 30th it continues 365 days a year.
With as many as 30 million dogs suffering from the dog meat trade across Asia, an estimated 10 million dogs and 4 million cats are slaughtered for the trade every year in China.
One of the most terrifying things about the annual Yulin Festival is that it leads to many abductions of household dogs, cats and other pets by kidnappers looking to make a quick buck as the dog festival begins.
Dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes, many of them family pets still wearing their collars and strays snatched from the streets are forced into tiny cages. Many suffer broken limbs as they are transported vast distances, without food or water.
When they arrive at the meat markets, injured, dehydrated and exhausted, they are forced to watch in horror as other dogs are bludgeoned to death or thrown still alive into boiling water remove their skins.
Each year that the Festival and the dog and cat meat trade continues, we must stand together and use our voices and speak up for these animals.
They DO NOT have the luxury of tomorrow.
For too long, the dog and cat meat trade has been hidden amongst the shadows, help us bring the truth to light.
Unite with us against the horrifying and torturous conditions that these dogs and cats endure until their brutal and senseless deaths. Help us STOP the Yulin Festival and END the dog & cat meat trade forever.
