Peaceful Rally for Mally’s at OMNRF in Peterborough

Please join us in a peaceful demonstration in support of Mally’s Third Chance to demand the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry return the raccoons who were forcibly removed from Mally’s care.

On Tuesday, September 26th the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry ambushed Mally’s and seized almost 100 raccoons. These were all raccoons who were given a chance at treatment and recovery from sickness, injury, and from being orphaned. The OMNRF has not yet disclosed any information on the status or location of these innocent animals who have all now been traumatized by the disturbing ordeal. The founders, staff, and volunteers are also left completely traumatized and helpless.
We will be peacefully demonstrating in support of Mally’s to demand the safe return of the raccoons.

This is a peaceful demonstration. We will be utilizing our rights and following the law. Please remain only on public property (the sidewalk) and do not physically block passerby, roads, or access to building entrances. Please do not use inappropriate or profane language. If you need to smoke please do so away from the building and away from the group. Please do not engage with negative comments or remarks. Please always remain peaceful, calm, and non-violent. Please respect personal space.
