Cooking With Jackfruit Workshop-Hands On

ALK’s workshops are great fun for a group of friends, family or an effective team building. They are also a powerful tool for people interested in exploring a plant based diet. This cooking class is the perfect gift for the Holidays too! Sign up quickly, since space is limited to 12 people!
Did you every cook with Jackfruit before? The texture of jackfruit is similar to chicken and pork and it has been commonly used as a meat substitute throughout Asia for many years. The jackfruit in brine is often called “vegetarian meat.” The seeds are also edible and can be boiled or roasted.
If you’re not sure what to do with it, here is the perfect start for you.
During our 2 hour workshop, we will cook 4 – 6 different filling and delicious vegan meals all containing amazing jackfruit. After that, we eat it all together and enjoy good food and company! Every workshop usually has 10 – 12 people. All of the food is vegan and does not contain any animal ingredients (no dairy, eggs etc.)
