A Call To Veganism Live Taping!
May 14, 2018 @ 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm
Calling all vegans! Please join us at a live taping of “A Call To Veganism”, co-hosted by Hugh Reilly and Sue Spahr…a weekly Internet show aimed at raising awareness about animal issues as well as supporting and celebrating the people who run vegan businesses, perform animal rescue and operate sanctuaries, grassroots activist groups effecting change, etc. Individuals who are thought-provoking, inspirational, entertaining…each of them making a positive social impact, living and working ethically and in alignment with their moral compass. Or you can also watch the live stream commencing at 1:00 EST on ThatChannel.com.
This Monday, May 14th is going to be jammed! Dr. Julie Chan, owner of Liberty Wellness Clinic in Markham and founder of Peace Fur Paws, will be on hand to discuss her naturopathic practice as well as her extensive animal advocacy. Mathilda Irawan of Alam Catering and Alam Yoga and Wellness has both ends covered with offering delicious vegan food and the means to burn it off (I’m secretly hoping she’ll get Hugh down on the floor to do some moves). Ray Cruzzola of Room Temp Productions and Vegan AF Productions will detail the creative genius behind his work and discuss his incredible activism…in his quiet, modest way. Anonymous for the Voiceless Toronto seasoned Cube of Truth-er, Alec Bosse — also known as the Human Laugh Track — will talk about this exciting and effective form of activism. And Matt Simpson, Irish musician, video producer, and natural comedian, now living in Amsterdam, will be Skyped in to tell us what’s the craic and to discuss his band 40 Meters Away and their new tune, “Days Go Bye”.
Last Monday, we were joined by Mo Markham of Mother Earth Save and the We Love Animals Film Series, as well as The Viet Vegan, Lisa Le (blogger, YouTuber). Diane Nicholson was supposed to join us, but technical difficulties denied us that pleasure.
Please enjoy our last episode…and share widely and freely.
Come enjoy the FREE — vegan, of course! — popcorn.
